Treatment Questions
Your Questions, Answered
General
Absolutely! My approach is all about enhancing your natural beauty, not changing the way you look. I focus on subtle, balanced results that complement your unique features. Whether you're looking for a little extra volume, smoother skin or a refreshed appearance, every treatment is tailored to you and your desired outcome.
Your comfort is my priority! Most treatments involve only mild discomfort, although this can vary depending on the procedure and your individual sensitivity.Where appropriate, I'll use numbing cream or other techniques to help keep you comfortable throughout your appointment. You may experience a little pinching, pressure or stinging, but I'll explain exactly what to expect before your treatment begins.
Downtime varies depending on the treatment, but many clients can return to their usual daily activities shortly afterwards. Some treatments may cause temporary redness, swelling, bruising or tenderness, which typically settles within a few days. Treatments such as lip fillers and microneedling may require a little more recovery time.I'll always talk you through what to expect, so you can plan your treatment around your lifestyle.
This depends on the treatment, your individual response and factors such as your metabolism and lifestyle. As a general guide:Lip and dermal fillers: Often last around 6-18 months, depending on the product and treatment area.Anti-wrinkle treatments: Typically last around 3-4 months.Skin boosters: Results may last several months, with maintenance treatments often recommended.Microneedling: Improvements develop gradually, and a course of treatments may be recommended for the best results.Fat dissolving: Results can be long-lasting once treated fat cells have been eliminated, although weight changes can still affect the area.
During your consultation, we'll discuss realistic results, how long they may last and whether maintenance treatments could be beneficial.
Of course! You don't need to know exactly what treatment you want before booking a consultation.I'll take the time to understand your concerns, discuss your goals and assess which treatments may be most suitable for you.I'll explain your options, answer any questions and create a personalised treatment plan that feels right for you. There's absolutely no pressure to go ahead with a procedure.
Proper aftercare is an important part of achieving the best possible results. Following your appointment, you'll receive clear aftercare guidance both in person and via email, so you know exactly what to expect and how to look after your results. If you have any questions or concerns after your treatment, I'm always happy to help. You can reach out to me via email, WhatsApp or Instagram. The advice will vary depending on your treatment, but you may be asked to avoid:Intense exercise: Usually for the first 24-48 hours.Alcohol: Often for at least 24 hours, particularly after injectable treatments.Excessive heat: Saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds and very hot baths may need to be avoided temporarily.Touching or massaging the treated area: Unless specifically advised by your practitioner.Active skincare products: Retinol, exfoliating acids and other potentially irritating products may need to be paused after treatments such as microneedling.
Your safety always comes first. Before any treatment, I'll carry out a thorough consultation to discuss your medical history, suitability, potential risks and expected results. All aesthetic procedures carry some degree of risk, including possible side effects and complications. I'll make sure you have the information you need to make a confident, informed decision, and only recommend treatments I believe are appropriate for you.
